Dr. Carrie Oleston discovered chiropractic when she sought care for runner’s knee and shin splints in college. Originally heading for a career in traditional medicine, she pursued her career as a chiropractic physician in order to provide a natural health care alternative. Her holistic approach to health care has led her to develop an in depth focus on chiropractic, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, therapeutic exercise, and nutrition. She also enjoys providing care for pregnant mothers and children of all ages and teaching a holistic and wellness approach to health.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin, Dr. Oleston completed her doctoral degree at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She furthered her post-graduate studies with a certification in Acupuncture and is certified in the Webster Technique, a specific analysis and adjustment used for pregnant mothers. Dr. Oleston is currently completing the Whiplash and Brain Injury Traumatology advanced certification with the Spine Research Institute of San Diego. She is an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Carrollwood Area Business Association, Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce, and Business Ladies Advancing Business.
